Every December, thousands of visitors come to Madison to tour the ante-bellum homes decked out in all their Christmas splendor.
As a runner or walker, you can sleep a little later this Saturday morning and your visit can be twofold. First to participate in the Christmas Rush Classic 8K Run, 5K Run or Walk, or One Mile Fun Run/Walk. Then, stay to tour the Madison-Morgan County Historical District with all its traditional decorations. Whether you stay or not, you will be treated to a long-sleeve t-shirt or optional sweat shirt with a beautiful Christmas multi-color print, hot homemade vegetable soup, hot apple cider and other goodies.
Application (will open new window)
Pregistration is recommended. No confirmations or race numbers will be mailed. Entering by December 1 for $20 guarantees your long sleeve t-shirt in your size on race day. The high quality long sleeve sweat shirt is available by preregistration only. All entries are non-refundable. Walkers may participate in the 5K, 8K or mile.
