Atlanta Track Club

About:
Founded in 1964, the Atlanta Track Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting health and fitness, through programs of amateur road racing, cross-country, and track & field, in the spirit of fun and competition. The ATC holds several low-key events throughout the year, but also puts on the famous Peachtree Road Race and the Atlanta Marathon and Half Marathon.

Atlanta Singles Running Organization

About:
ASRO was formed to support and encourage the running habit, and to provide a safe, healthy place for singles to make friends of both genders. ASRO is open to single runners of all ages and abilities (and lack of ability), including walkers. ASRO has club runs every week at various locations and of varying distances.

Atlanta Southside Runners

About:

Chattahoochee Road Runners

About:
Chattahoochee Road Runners host a variety of social functions, including weekly runs, monthly runs, quarterly dinners, annual trips to various races in the Southeast, and an annual awards banquet. Grab a refreshing beverage and take a look. The club currently has 390 members. The club holds the Chattahoochee Road Runners' 10K and New Year's Eve Race.

Carpet Capital Running Club

About: The Dalton Track Club was formed in 1982. The name was soon changed to the Carpet Capital Running Club (CCRC) and the club grew to include recreational as well as competitive runners. The club organizes several running events as well as events to support the community. Currently the club has 93 single and family memberships. This includes 40 family spouse members to bring the clubs total adult membership to 133.

About: The Dekalb County Express Track Club, Inc. (D.C. Express) was founded in 1984 in Decatur, GA. D.C. Express is a 20-year old nonprofit community based youth track & field development/competitive program.

D.C. Express has participated in various track and field meets in different parts of the United States. D.C. Express members have attracted attention as winners, record breakers, student athletes and as being well disciplined athletes. The excellent performances have not only created a fine reputation for D.C. Express, but have resulted in scholarships for D.C Express athletes to some of the finest colleges and universities in the United States.

Douglas County Rogue Runners

About:
Founded in 2003 and have a membership of about 40 with a wide range of ages and abilities. We host 3 races annually, Halloween Moonlight Run 5K, Blake Gammill 5K, and SweetH20 50K & Half Marathon. Our goal is to make Douglas County the healthiest county in Ga through running. We meet Tues and Thurs evenings and Sat mornings for group runs, some roads but tend to like trails best. The Golden Isles Track Club is located on St. Simons Island and is a local non-profit organization created to promote fun in fitness. Gwinnett Running Club

About:
We are a newly formed running group in the northern Gwinnett area, and membership is currently free. We welcome walkers and runners of all abilities and styles - short or long distances, road or trail. Check out our calendar page to see the scheduled run times. Oakhurst Running Club

Started by Charles Cope at One Step at a Time in the Oakhurst neighborhood of Decatur, GA, the Oakhurst Running Club has been running since 2001. We meet on Wednesday nights for a 5 mile run, check our website for seasonally adjusted times. We run for 3.1 miles on Saturday mornings. We welcome runners of all abilities. The Robins Pacers Running Club is located in Warner Robins and was formed in 1987. The objective of the club is to promote health and fitness among club members and the local community. South DeKalb Striders Running Club

About:
The Striders became a certified running club in March 1990 with 12 charter members. The Striders biggest event is the annual 5K For Hope Road Race held the fourth Saturday of August. The proceeds from this road race are used to benefit Our House, a child care facility for homeless children. The Striders host a fellowship run in South DeKalb with the South Fulton Running Partners in the spring of each year and are invited by the Running Partners to a South Fulton location in the fall.

Totally Running

About:
We meet Saturdays and Sundays at 7AM at the Greenway- Forsyth County- Bethelview Rd. lot, and Tuesday's at 7PM at the Greenway- Forsyth Cty., Bethelview Rd. lot. In the event the Greenway is closed- we meet at the store with the exception of lightening, in which case group run is cancelled. You can also find us on Facebook where you will find weekly updates and reminders for the group runs. Our groups are for ALL abilities, whether you are just starting to run, training for your first 5K, or going for your next PR in a half or full marathon. We have many varying paces- so you will be sure to find someone that fits your pace! Everyone is welcome to run at their own pace and distance. We also put on the annual Totally Running 5K in August every year, as well as sponsor other local races throughout the year.

Dewar Elementary Running Club

About:
Dewar Elementary's Running Club has been in existence for years. The goal of our running club is help spark an interest in running among elementary aged children. Hopefully, it will become a life-long activity for our students. The club meets once a week at school. We have an average of 60 students who participate each week. For students who wish to further develop their running skills, we meet 4 additional times a week outside of school. During those sessions, we work on trail running, speed, and distance. Members are encouraged to participate in local 5-k races throughout the year. As a culminating activity, we hold our own 5-k race at the end of the school year.
