About the Race
The Run for Recovery 5k is a run/walk which raises awareness about students in recovery from addiction. All proceeds support the Center for Young Adult Addiction and Recovery (CYAAR) at Kenensaw State University. The CYAAR supports students in recovery from addictions by providing academic and recovery support.

- 7:30 a.m. - race day registration.
- 8:30 a.m. - 5K Run/Walk.

Registration
- $15 - Students (with a student ID), before August 27, $20 after
- $20 - ages 65+ before August 27, $25 after
- $25 - Individual Runner, before August 27, $30 after

Awards and Extras
CASH PRIZES!!!! Top Three Finishers in male and female categories - 1st: $100, 2nd: $75, 3rd: $50. Age group awards presented to top three male/female in age groups. All registered runners receive a Run for Recovery t-shirt, race-day bag and a chance to win prizes in our raffle drawing. Hang out after the race for awards, prizes and to receive giveaways from our sponsors!!
