Family Festival
After a short awards ceremony, CRN will host an evening filled with good food and good times. We'll fire up the grills, and open up an evening filled with games and contests. Some activities include: jumping moons, face-painting, sno-cones, a raffle, and a couple of contests for the kids. Families can also sit around and watch a team of CRN volunteers take on some Sanctuary Park employees in a game of softball. The evening will end with everyone sitting down to watch a kids' movie with a big screen on the green. The cookout and movie are subject to cancellation should there be heavy rain or storms. In addition to being an evening of family-filled fun, this event will raise money for CRN's HeadSmart campaign. With your support, CRN will provide homeless children with the academic resources and supplies necessary to help these kids break the cycle of homelessness. Funds raised from this event will help provide homeless children with new book bags and school supplies, access to academic tutoring and mentoring sessions, and with New Hope Scholarships that will help some graduating homeless seniors attend college or technical school.
